Overview
This route focuses on Uzbekistan’s legendary Silk Road cities: Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. Travel by high-speed train and comfortable vehicles, stay in atmospheric boutique hotels and explore with our local guides – with free time left for your own discoveries, tea stops and photography.

Day by Day
Airport pickup and hotel check-in. Depending on arrival time, short city tour including Chorsu Bazaar, old town and the Soviet-era Metro. Welcome dinner and trip briefing.
Morning train to Samarkand. Afternoon visits to Registan Square and Gur-e Amir Mausoleum. Evening free to enjoy the city at your own pace.
Full day in Samarkand: Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, Bibi-Khanum Mosque and Siab Bazaar. Visit Ulugbek Observatory or Afrosiab Museum. Optional evening light show at Registan when available.
Travel to Bukhara by train or road. Afternoon orientation walk around Lyabi-Hauz ensemble and old caravanserai courtyards.
Visit the Ark Citadel, Bolo-Hauz Mosque, Poi-Kalyan complex and Chor-Minor. Free time in the afternoon to explore craft workshops or relax in a teahouse.
Drive across the Kyzylkum desert to Khiva with picnic and photo stops en route, or fly via Urgench when schedules allow. Evening stroll atop the city walls, time-permitting.
Full day walking tour inside Itchan Kala: Kunya Ark, Kalta-Minor minaret, Juma Mosque, Tash-Hauli Palace and former caravanserais. Sunset from a viewpoint on the city wall.
Transfer to Urgench airport and flight to Tashkent. Free afternoon for last-minute shopping or extra sightseeing. Farewell dinner.
